you've got questions, we've got answers.
What makes our exams different?
Our exam looks at more than just teeth. We evaluate airway health, breathing, and sleep to see how they impact growth and development. Using advanced 3D imaging, we get a detailed view of the jaws, teeth, and airway for accurate diagnosis. We focus on treating the root cause of orthodontic issues, not just the symptoms, and collaborate with other specialists when needed to support the best overall outcome.
How long is the first appointment?
We estimate you being in office for 1 – 1.5 hours!
What kind of exams do you offer?
We offer two types of exams, a standard evaluation or an airway evaluation.
In our airway evaluations, our doctors will specifically focus on the airway and any symptoms or signs pointing to a potential airway problem.
In our standard evaluations, our doctors will still factor in the airway and take that into consideration during the treatment planning phase.
Is airway evaluation included in all exams?
Yes, our doctor will touch on the airway in every exam.
Can I come into the office for an exam if I only want braces or clear aligners?
Yes! While our doctors are very involved in airway research, we do offer standard orthodontic treatment options like braces or clear aligners!
