Why do you use CBCT instead of regular X-rays?
CBCT provides 3D imaging, allowing us to evaluate airway space, jaw structure, and tooth position more comprehensively.
Is CBCT imaging safe for children?
Yes! Patient health and wellness is something was extremely important to Dr. Kuhta when she decided to open our practice. We follow the safety guidelines outlined for the iCat machine that we use in office.
Will my child need imaging at every visit?
No, imaging is only necessary when needed to diagnose treatment and evaluate progress or next steps.
Are CBCT's required?
In order for our doctors to accurately evaluate the airway, we do need to complete a CBCT in office.
Do you have a lead vest available to protect my child?
Yes, we do have a lead vest available at your request. Please do not hesitate to ask our staff when you are in office and we would be happy to provide that for you.
